We remove the dust using a waterless cleaning agent then carefully scan frame by frame with high quality optics to uncompressed files to capture every detail. We are one of only a few companies that include a WetGate. This helps dramatically to improve all old films with projection scratching and ageing of the image emulsion.
Our colour correction helps to improve and restore faded and tinted films, together with contrast adjustment to enhance pictures for modern digital displays.

We are so confident you will love our transfers we offer a ‘Try Before You Buy’ service. This is for collections in excess of 2,000ft. We will transfer a section of film and provide a sample for viewing.
Professional film transfers from a full aperture 4k sensor at 4096 x 3000. With output to DPX 10bit or ProRes files ready to edit. Flat overscan or cropped it’s up to you, just ask us for further details. Scanning in a choice of HD, 2K, 3K and 4K.
Sound Films
Any films with combined sound or separate sound can be transferred as we have sound heads and followers for all formats either magnetic or optical.
Mouldy, Vinegar Syndrome, shrunken and warped Films
Many aged films that are suffering from mould growth or vinegar syndrome and host of other issues can be saved. We can clean and scan them to prevent the images being lost forever!

We operate strict quality control measures within our facility and all film transfers are completed in-house at our Newcastle facility, unlike many we never send film abroad!
