Great Transfer Quality -we use state of the art HD telecine transfer system (not projection) scanning each frame of film optimising colour rendition and brightness levels. All films are fully cleaned before transfer to remove the majority of dust and dirt particles to enhace your viewing pleasure, we also digitally restore the original colour and make enhancements to further improve the picture quality. The technique we use is very flexible coping better with amateur footage which can often be over or under exposed from scene to scene, we even out this exposure difference which ensures higher quality cine film to dvd transfers at very competitive prices.

How
to calculate how much footage you have? - The small 3" diameter
reels contain 50ft of film and run for approximately 4 minutes, the 5"
diameter reels hold up to 200ft and the 7" diameter reels hold up to
400 ft the larger reels generally have markings on the side indicating the
amount of footage in both Feet and Meters. There's Kodak's film calculator
to the left if you want to work out exactly how long the footage will run
for.

Remember if your spools are not full we only charge for the amount of film to transfer.

You can be assured that your films will be treated with the utmost of care and returned in the same or even better condition than received. Our staff have many years of experience working with small gauge film and will be happy to answer any questions that you may have about cine film to DVD transfers.
What we do, on receipt of your films we check the reels cleaning the film of the majority of dust and dirt and re-make any splice repairs as necessary to the film, the films are then put though a very specialised HD telecine machine to ensure great picture transfers from each frame of film, the results are then processed through our dedicated edit system where we can then make further enhancements and colour corrections as required, the final result is then processed to a wide range of formats. We return all your originals and hold a safety copy here on our system until you receive your order back from us.
No need to send money with your order we will transfer your reels and contact you prior to dispatch for secure card payment.
Send us your films or drop them off. You can post your films to us, we recommend either Special Delivery or via a courier service. If you live in the Newcastle, Northumberland, Durham or Teeside areas you can drop them off at our offices, we are open 9:30am until 5:30pm weekdays.
All work is carried out by our trained in-house staff only!
